CORONA, Calif., (March 30, 2009) – As the snow’s pretty much melted into the ground and winter memories now take a back seat new ones made on dirt bikes, street bikes and personal watercraft, everyone at Monster Energy and Slednecks wanted to reach out and thank the legions of extreme powersports fans that came out in record numbers to support Monster Energy Slednecks Invasion Tour, which headlined the AMSOIL Championship Snocross Series (ACSS).

Upping the ante for the third straight year, crowds at the International Series of Champions (ISOC) – producers and promoters of ACSS racing – thrilled to the likes of world snowmobile distance jumping record holder Paul Thacker, Slednecks film star Cody Borchers, snocross champion Steve Martin, ISOC Freestyler of the Year Matt Tingtstad, as well as top snowmobile free riders Dylan Harju, Eric St. John and Canada’s Jeff Mullin.

“The Monster Energy Slednecks Invasion Tour took their show to a whole new level this season and put on great show after great show at our races,” said Andy Groebner, ISOC’s Director of Marketing. “We are very appreciate of the Tour making appearances at our races and adding to our events.”

“This year’s Monster Energy Slednecks Invasion Tour was a huge success. We definitely stepped up from last year,” said Thacker. “We enjoyed huge crowds, which no doubt helped push freestyle snowmobiling to new heights. We now have a great platform to build future events off.”

Added Slednecks’ John Keegan: “From Monster to ISOC, everyone at Slednecks is all super proud of all parties involved this year. Monster was a HUGE reason that we crushed it.
