PT Update 4/19/10

It’s been a pretty busy spring! Since the Invasion Tour has finished up, I am back in AK for some much needed time sleeping in my own bed! Even though I am home though doesn’t seem to be slowing down my schedule much. I just got back from The Arctic Man event at Summit Lake Alaska. It’s a huge snowmobile event/party in the middle of nowhere AK! Events range from the actual Arctic Man pull where a sled tows a skier/snowboarder down the mountain! Speeds reach over 90 mph! Crazy! They also do a hillcross, snox, and cross country. I actually went this year to do the freestyle demo. I was invited to help out and since I have never actually done much in my home state I thought it was a stellar idea. Since I quit racing I thought it would be nice to rip a little freestyle in front of the hometown crowd. The entire event was a super good time and I was really glad I was invited to be a part.

Tinger Named ISOC Freestyler of the Year!
Matt “Tinger” Tingstad is a man of many talents and his hard work paid off this year as he received the coveted ISOC Monster Energy Slednecks Invasion Tour Freestyler of the Year Award. Tinger has been one of the front men of this year’s high flying Monster Energy Slednecks Invasion Tour and although he’s an attorney by day, when night falls and the lights come on in a crowded stadium he’s an entertainer and a wild man. Check out the webisodes from this year’s Invasion Tour here.

CORONA, Calif., (March 30, 2009) – As the snow’s pretty much melted into the ground and winter memories now take a back seat new ones made on dirt bikes, street bikes and personal watercraft, everyone at Monster Energy and Slednecks wanted to reach out and thank the legions of extreme powersports fans that came out in record numbers to support Monster Energy Slednecks Invasion Tour, which headlined the AMSOIL Championship Snocross Series (ACSS).
